Seed Art: Therapeutic, Creative, Relaxing.

These are panels created with seeds from beans, corn and various grains. A team of individuals worked on one panel at a time. The center is painted with acrylic. A theme always guides the creation: Panel (1) shows the chakras (energy wheels) and energy in motion as demonstrated by the flaming suns. Panel (2) shows the joined hands in harmony and unity. Panel (3) represents life force of the sun and joy of the dolphins. Panel (4) is a Fall theme. The falling leaves, created with colors of Autumn,. A time of looking inward and withdrawal.
The method is simple. The seeds get glued one by one to the panel. It enhances the person's focus on the task at hand. On a deeper level the mind's constant chatter ceases for a while and gets the person to relax without noticing it. This is one beneficial effect of what the creation of seed art can do.
